We here at Michael’s Party Rentals have seen our fair share of graduation parties. Over the years, we have noticed a pattern of items we just can’t seem to keep on our selves during the graduation season. We understand that it’s hard to work fulltime and plan a graduation party so we want to do the leg work for you! Below are some items you should consider for your grad’s party!
The essentials:
A Tent: Rain or shine, protect your guests from New England weather
- a 20×20 is advised for 40 guests
- A 20×30 is advised for 60 guests
- A 20×40 is advised for 80 guests
(These numbers are based off just 8ft banquet tables and chairs under the tent. If you are planning on have a buffet, DJ, or dance floor, you may need a bigger tent. Please call 413-589-7368 for questions on sizing.)
Chairs:
- Our cheapest chair is our brown folding chair, from there we have a white folding, white fan back, and a white padded garden chair.
Tables:
- We have round or banquet tables to choose from in a variety of sizes. We also have 42″ tall cocktail tables. Please check out our webpage for more details.
The accessories:
- Kwik Cover: You can cover tables easily with kwik covers. They are available in 14 colors. (Instead of using basic white, get the graduate’s school colors.)
- Fill and Chill Table: They are perfect to keep your beverages cool but easily accessible. You can also use it to keep you pasta and potato salads chilled.
- A Grill: The majority of home owners own a grill. However if you don’t or you need a bigger one, we can help you out!
- Helium Tanks: You can decorate your house or yard with balloons. We rent helium tanks, but beware, they do book up fast during graduation season.
- Fans: Sometimes under those tents can get hot. Let us come in and install fans.
- Chafing Dishes: Don’t have the tools to keep the food to temp? Rent some chafing dishes. They come with 2 free sternos.
